We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to lead day-to-day pipeline and industrial piping execution, welding supervision, site safety compliance, and testing at our project site. You will oversee field teams, manage subcontractor work, perform quality inspections (NDT/Hydrotesting), and coordinate directly with client site representatives to ensure project schedules and safety standards are strictly met.
Key Responsibilities Site Execution & Supervision: Oversee physical piping installation, fit-up, thermal/butt-welding, pipe fabrication, and structural support erection according to Approved-for-Construction (AFC) drawings and P&IDs.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead line testing procedures including hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, NDT coordination, and joint inspections prior to final client handover. Punch List & Handover: Track, execute, and close out site punch list items efficiently in coordination with client engineers and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies. Safety & Compliance: Enforce Job Safety Analysis (JSA / HIRA), Method Statements, and site authorization protocols for all elevation and heavy equipment work. Progress & Reporting: Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), track material receipts/reconciliations, and manage site manpower allocation to avoid project delays. Requirements & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in pipeline site execution, industrial piping projects, or plant installation. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in reading Isometrics and P&IDs; knowledge of pipe welding (PPH, PVC, carbon steel, or alloy, depending on site scope) and ASME/API piping standards.
