Role description
We are looking for Automation Test Engineers to join the WAVE project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation using Playwright, working with Claude Code and the current PySpec framework. At least one of the selected candidates should also bring performance testing experience.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Work with Claude Code integrated with the PySpec framework
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand requirements and testing needs
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects
- Contribute to improving test coverage, test reliability, and automation best practices
- (For designated role) Plan and execute performance testing and analyze performance metrics
- Strong experience in test automation using Playwright
- Hands-on experience working with Claude Code
- Practical knowledge of the PySpec automation framework
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and SDLC
- Experience in writing clean, maintainable, and reusable automation code
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with performance testing tools and techniques (at least one position)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and collaboration abilities
- A proactive mindset with attention to detail
