Job title: Manager – Human Resource & Administration - Manufacturing / Factory setup

Division/Function Human Resource
Department: HR & Administration
Location: Pardi, Gujrat (Between Vapi & Valsad)
Reports to (position): – DGM- HR
Working Days: 6 Days Mon-Sat
Work Timing: 10:30 AM-7 PM
Purpose:
To support and drive the full spectrum of Human Resource and Administrative functions at the manufacturing site, ensuring statutory compliance, effective industrial relations, workforce discipline, and a safe, productive, and compliant work environment aligned with business objectives.
Scope and KPI’s
o 100% statutory and labour law compliance (Central & State)
o Zero non-compliance observations in internal & external audits (Social, RBA, C-TPAT, IMS, etc.)
o Effective contract labour governance and compliance
o Payroll accuracy & timeliness (100%)
o Improved employee engagement and reduced grievances
o Stable industrial relations climate (no disruptions)
o Time office accuracy & discipline adherence
o Cost control within HR & Admin budgets
Key responsibilities:
A. Human Resource Operations
- Manage end-to-end HR operations including attendance, payroll inputs, and post-payroll compliance
- Drive employee engagement, grievance handling, and welfare initiatives
- Support performance management, training, and development initiatives
- Maintain discipline and implement HR policies across plant workforce
- Support manpower planning and basic recruitment activities
B. Statutory & Legal Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws including:
o Factories Act
o Industrial Disputes Act
o Labour Codes
- Handle statutory registers, records, and returns
- Ensure compliance for PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.
- Manage contractor compliance including documentation, licensing, and audits
- Liaise with government authorities and inspectors
C. Social Compliance & Audits
- Lead and manage all social, ethical, and security audits (RBA, C-TPAT, IMS, etc.)
- Ensure audit readiness at all times
- Drive closure of audit observations within defined timelines
- Maintain documentation and systems required for compliance certifications
D. Industrial Relations
- Maintain harmonious IR environment at plant
- Handle worker grievances and disciplinary matters
- Support union interactions (if applicable)
- Act as a bridge between management and workforce
E. Contract Labour Management
- Oversee deployment and governance of contract workforce
- Ensure compliance with CLRA and other applicable laws
- Monitor contractor payments, documentation, and statutory adherence
F. Time Office & Payroll Management
- Supervise attendance systems and shift management
- Validate payroll inputs and ensure statutory deductions
- Ensure compliance with wage regulations and timely disbursements
G. Factory Administration & Security
- Oversee facility management, transport, canteen, housekeeping, and security
- Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and workplace standards
- Monitor security protocols, gate control, and incident managemen
H. Welfare & Safety
- Drive statutory welfare initiatives under the Factories Act
- Ensure employee wellbeing, medical facilities, and workplace amenities
- Coordinate with safety teams for safe working conditions
- Conduct awareness programs on safety and compliance
I. Data Management & Analytics
- Maintain HR MIS and dashboards
- Analyze workforce data, absenteeism, attrition, and productivity trends
- Use Excel and HR systems for reporting and decision support

Internal:
- Plant Head, Functional Heads, Finance, Safety Team
- Workforce (permanent & contract employees)
- Corporate HR Team
External:
- Government authorities and labour departments
- Auditors (Social, Compliance, Certification bodies)
- Contractors and service providers
- Global/internal stakeholders across geographies

Qualifications & Experience
- Any Graduate with specialization in HR / Labour Law / Social Sciences
- Approx 10 years of experience in a manufacturing / factory setup
- Strong exposure to:
o Labour laws & statutory compliance
o Social compliance audits
o Contract labour management
o Payroll & time office operations
Skills & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and compliance framework
- Hands-on experience in audits and inspections
- Good analytical skills with strong command over Excel

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
