Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented CAD Designer for our Unstitched Textile Department. The candidate will be responsible for creating and developing textile designs, prints, layouts, and colorways as per market trends and brand requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop CAD designs for unstitched fabrics, dress materials, dupattas, etc.
- Develop print layouts, motifs, patterns, borders, buttas, and placement designs.
- Create multiple colorways and design variations as required.
- Convert design concepts, references, and inspirations into production-ready CADs.
- Prepare designs according to fabric width, repeat size, and printing requirements.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and merchandising teams for design execution.
- Make modifications and corrections based on feedback.
- Maintain proper files, folders, and design records for developed collections.
- Research current textile, fashion, color, and print trends for new design development.
- Ensure accuracy in colors, proportions, repeats, and overall design presentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Good understanding of textile prints, repeats, motifs, layouts, and color combinations.
- Knowledge of unstitched textile products will be an advantage.
- Good sense of colors, patterns, composition, and fashion trends.
- Ability to work with design references and develop new variations.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in textile/fabric designing or CAD designing.
- Candidates with experience in Surat textile industry will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong CAD/designing skills and a good portfolio may also be considered.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
