Installation & Commissioning
- Install, test, and commission UPS systems, batteries, stabilizers, inverters, and other power electronics equipment.
- Perform site readiness checks before installation.
- Ensure proper electrical connections, earthing, and safety compliance during commissioning.
Service & Maintenance
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of UPS systems and related power equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, electronic, and battery-related faults.
- Respond to breakdown calls and restore systems within the committed service timeline.
- Perform periodic health checks and preventive maintenance activities.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support to customers over phone, remote, or onsite.
- Coordinate with OEMs and internal technical teams for complex issues.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and fault analysis reports.
- Maintain customer service history and equipment records.
- Submit daily activity reports to the reporting manager.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of UPS systems, batteries, inverters, stabilizers, and power electronics.
- Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of networking and communication interfaces is an advantage.
- Good customer communication and service orientation.
- Willingness to travel for onsite service activities.
Qualification
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, EEE, ECE, or related field.
- Experience in UPS, power systems, batteries, or industrial electrical maintenance preferred.
