Role: People Business Partner-Eyecare (Retail)
You will practice best people practices & act as a liaison between the employees and the management to align the business objectives with the employees and drive all HR processes in Eyecare business. Your role will involve assessing the current and future business needs, acting as an employee champion, and serving as a change agent to drive the business strategy.
LOCATION: Based out of Bangalore but the role holder will be responsible for eyecare business across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Goa.
CALL OF DUTY
- Collaborate with business leaders at the group, division, or regional level to define and drive strategic people priorities
- Talent Management and Talent Acquisition: You will work closely with regional business leaders to identify and meet staffing needs, while also managing the hiring process. You will utilize data analysis to guide recruitment and mobility efforts. You will help the employees grow with job rotation and job enrichment.
- employee Connect & engagement: you will take charge of engagement initiatives and act as a champion of engagement lever for employee well-being. You will organize wellness initiatives and participate in regional or national events.
- Employee life-cycle management & HR Operations: You will drive HR technology, support the employee, lifecycle and manage mobility and transfers. You will track HR compliance for store and non-store
- employees, ensuring necessary actions are taken through the vendors, and finally ensuring statutory compliance across all locations.
- Employee Development: You will drive the culture of Individual Development Plans (IDP) in the region and ensure the creation, execution and deployment of learning charters.
- Performance Management: You will ensure the execution of the performance management process, including the annual goal-setting exercise, goal audits, and reviews aligned with policy guidelines.
Work Experience
- Postgraduate degree, preferably MBA in HR
- Proven people business partnering experience in Retail/ FMCG/ BFSI/ Pharma industry in front end operations, with 2-4 years of experience
- The candidate should showcase Boldness, Agility and Tech-Savviness
- Possess knowledge of leading industry practices in Employee Relations, Statutory Compliance, Employment laws, Grievance and discipline management and industry benchmarks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to handle Talent acquisition, performance conversations, talent initiatives
