English Literature Professor – Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Instruction
- Plan and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English literature, poetry, drama, and literary theory.
- Lead class discussions that explore literary meaning, historical context, and writing style.
- Design and administer examinations, essay assignments, and reading lists.
- Evaluate student work and provide constructive, detailed feedback.
- Hold regular office hours to support students with coursework and academic development.
Research and Scholarly Writing
- Conduct original research on authors, literary works, genres, or historical periods.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals, edited volumes, and university press publications.
- Present scholarly work at academic conferences, seminars, and professional meetings.
- Stay current with emerging research, theories, and developments in literary studies.
Student Advising and Academic Service
- Advise students on course selection, degree planning, and career or graduate school opportunities.
- Write recommendation letters for scholarships, employment, internships, and graduate programs.
- Participate in faculty meetings and serve on departmental and university committees.
- Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and the creation of new courses and instructional materials.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
