Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Head to oversee and manage our daily operations, ensuring the seamless and efficient functioning of our services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing operational procedures, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, and enhanced management reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
- Plan and oversee the daily operations of the company to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
2. Operational Excellence:
- Optimize and manage the overall operational process to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget.
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals in various operational functions.
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
4. Supply Chain and Logistics:
- Manage the supply chain and logistics to ensure smooth and efficient delivery and return of packaging assets.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and maintenance of assets.
5. Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
- Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to drive operational improvements.
6. Compliance and Quality Control:
- Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Maintain high standards of quality, ensuring that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
7. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
8. Technology Integration:
- Oversee the integration and utilisation of RFID technology and other digital solutions accross all warehouses to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the tech team to implement and maintain operational software systems.
9. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
- Conduct detailed analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
