Job Summary
The Counsellor – Online Programmes & Micro-credentials will be responsible for managing online and tele-counselling interactions with prospective learners, converting leads into registrations, and supporting sales of open professional development programmes. The role requires strong communication, consultative selling, and lead conversion skills, with a focus on B2C programme sales for working professionals and executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle online and tele-counselling inquiries from prospective learners.
- Convert leads generated through various sources into confirmed registrations.
- Understand learner goals and recommend suitable online programmes and micro-credentials.
- Support sales of open programmes for individual professionals and working executives.
- Follow up consistently with leads to improve conversion rates and enrollment closures.
- Maintain accurate records of lead status, counseling outcomes, and registrations.
- Coordinate with marketing and programme teams to support admissions and promotions.
- Work toward monthly enrollment and revenue targets.
Skills Needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong persuasion and relationship-building skills. Lead conversion and follow-up discipline. Customer-centric counselling approach. CRM familiarity and basic reporting ability. Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
