The Manager – Production position is responsible for leading and managing all manufacturing operations at the plant to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while meeting quality standards, customer requirements, and business objectives. The role focuses on maximizing productivity through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, raw materials, and utilities.
- Lead daily production operations and ensure achievement of production plans and customer delivery commitments.

Manage manpower, equipment, utilities, and raw materials to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor production performance and take corrective actions to achieve production targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive a strong safety culture and lead EHS initiatives, audits, and risk assessments.
- Maintain compliance with ISO, GMP, and other manufacturing standards.
- Improve productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, waste, and downtime.
- Optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield, and resource utilization.
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams, supervisors, and operators.

Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
- Support preventive maintenance, shutdown activities, and new equipment commissioning.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, TPM, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, productivity, quality, safety, and manufacturing costs.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and R&D teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Prepare operational reviews and improvement action plans for plant leadership.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Chemical, Adhesives, Specialty Chemicals, Paints, Petrochemical, or Process Manufacturing industries.
- Should be a B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.

- Deep understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and process safety.
- Knowledge of GMP, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (CI), TPM, and Operational Excellence.
- Proven ability to lead and develop production teams and manage manpower effectively.
- Experience in driving productivity improvements, cost reduction, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Experience in managing safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams such as Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and EHS.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- A data-driven approach to monitoring KPIs such as OEE, productivity, yield, safety, and quality performance.
