Key Responsibilities
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and isometric layouts specific to marine vessels.
- Fabrication & Fitting: Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using hand and power tools. Fit and align pipe segments, valves, and hangers securely.
- Welding & Joining: Join pipes using methods like TIG/MIG welding, soldering, brazing, or flanging.
- Maintenance & Repair: Disassemble faulty systems, replace damaged sections, and swap valves.
- Testing: Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests to detect leaks and verify system integrity.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to maritime classification society standards and shipyard safety regulations
Pay: ₹500.00 - ₹1,900.00 per day
