The Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom/broadband services at customer locations. The role requires hands-on technical skills, field work, and customer interaction to ensure high service quality and timely issue resolution.
- Install and configure broadband, internet, and telecom equipment at customer premises
- Lay and manage cables (fiber/UTP), routing, and connections
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to connectivity, speed, or signal
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks
- Handle service requests and complaints within defined timelines
- Coordinate with backend/support teams for issue escalation
- Maintain daily reports (installation, faults, closures)
- Ensure proper usage of tools and safety practices during field work
- Collect required documents or customer signatures after installation (if applicable)
- Basic knowledge of networking, routers, switches, and fiber optics
- Ability to troubleshoot internet/broadband issues
- Familiarity with tools like crimping tools, OTDR (for fiber), etc.
- Willingness to work in field and travel locally
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license (preferred)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
