The Opportunity:
For the first time, we are opening doors for highly skilled GPP 5G L1/L2 systems designers in India to be part of our global development teams. This is your chance to contribute directly to the evolution of Ericsson 5G NR and play a critical role in defining how millions connect and communicate worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform systemization for features in Scheduler, Radio Physical Layer and Radio Resource Management for radio functions like Beam Forming, Massive MIMO, Carrier Aggregation, Dynamic Spectrum Sharing

Specify new 5G system features and functions, including requirements, test cases, algorithms, use cases, parameter settings and address any interactions with legacy features and functionality

Develop software simulations for the performance analysis of features and algorithms either link-level or network-level simulations.

Drive continuous improvements of products, simulation tools and processes

Support system verification and perform analysis of test results with respect to operator KPIs.

Support the deployment of new 5G & 6G products and features into customer networks. Work with Customer troubleshooting and analysis. Understand customer configurations and issues.
Required Qualifications:

Strong background in communications theory and digital signal processing

Solid understanding of LTE & NR 3GPP specifications, especially in the areas of the Physical Layer, Radio Resource Management and Mobility

Experience in SW development for Link and Network Simulations. Languages include: Java, C and C++, Python, matlab

5+ years of experience in doing System & Link Level Simulation or 10+ years telecom software development with specialization in 5G L2 Algorithms conceptualization, design, and development with strong fundamental on L1 blocks and concepts

Analytical mindset and result orientation to deliver even when under pressure• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and manage many different projects at once

M.Tech. or Ph.D. degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics, or related field, preferably with proven experience and knowledge in the above- mentioned required skills areas
