Urgently required for the post of Senior Purchase Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end outsourcing & procurement of machined, fabricated, casted, welded, and assembly components.
- Source, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors for machining, fabrication, castings, and welding work.
- Review engineering drawings, understand welding symbols, GD&T, material specifications, and quality requirements.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities related to machining, fabrication, casting processes, and welding quality.
- Prepare RFQs, conduct technical & commercial evaluations, negotiate pricing, and finalize Purchase Orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of outsourced components as per production and project schedules.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and Quality teams for technical clarification and specification alignment.
- Monitor supplier quality performance, including dimensional inspection reports, material test certificates, and welding quality parameters.
- Handle supplier issues related to rework, rejection, NCRs, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain procurement MIS, cost comparison sheets, vendor performance tracking, and related documentation.
Key Skills Required:
- Mechanical Engineering (Diploma / B.E. Mechanical) is Mandatory
- Experience in engineering procurement, vendor development, outsourcing, and manufacturing industries.
- Strong technical and commercial acumen with hands-on exposure to machining and fabrication environments.
