Job Title: Senior Database Developer – SQL Server Location Bengaluru, India (Hybrid / Onsite / Remote – as applicable) Experience <5 years of relevant experience Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Database Developer with expertise in SQL Server and strong SQL development skills. The role requires hands-on experience in performance tuning, managing large datasets, and solving complex data problems. Exposure to PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server database objects including queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers Optimize SQL Server database performance through indexing strategies, query tuning, and execution plan analysis Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve database performance and data-related issues Collaborate with application and backend teams to support data access and API integrations Participate in data modeling, schema design, and database architecture decisions L2 / L3 Support on the tickets raised. Support production deployments and provide root-cause analysis for database incidents Mandatory Skills & Qualifications <5 years of experience as a Database Developer or similar role Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, Advanced SQL skills (complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, indexing, query optimization) Proven experience with SQL Server performance tuning and troubleshooting Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Solid understanding of relational data modeling concepts Added / Preferred Skills Working knowledge of PostgreSQL Exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra) Experience with Node.js for backend development or database access layers Familiarity with and other programming language and front-end development. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git) Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Attention to detail and strong ownership mindset Ability to analyze issues and propose optimal solutions
