Job Summary
The Allied Workshop Science, Calculation & Engineering Drawing Trainer will be responsible for delivering effective theoretical and practical training in Workshop Science, Engineering Calculations, and Engineering Drawing. The trainer will help students develop strong technical fundamentals, drawing interpretation skills, mathematical calculation abilities, and practical knowledge required for technical and vocational careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training in Workshop Science, Engineering Calculation, and Engineering Drawing.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, presentations, practical demonstrations, assignments, and assessments.
- Teach fundamental engineering concepts, workshop practices, tools, materials, measurements, and safety procedures.
- Provide training in basic and applied engineering mathematics, calculations, units, measurements, ratios, percentages, and technical problem-solving.
- Teach Engineering Drawing concepts including geometrical construction, orthographic projection, sectional views, dimensioning, symbols, scales, and basic technical drawings.
- Help students understand and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications.
- Conduct practical demonstrations related to workshop tools, equipment, materials, and measurement instruments.
- Assess students through written tests, practical examinations, assignments, projects, and viva-voce.
- Monitor student attendance, participation, progress, and overall learning outcomes.
- Provide additional academic support to students who require improvement.
- Maintain training records, attendance registers, assessment reports, and other academic documentation.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools, equipment, and training materials.
- Follow institutional academic standards, safety guidelines, and training procedures.
- Coordinate with other faculty members and the Training/Academic Department for smooth course delivery.
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, seminars, examinations, and other institutional activities.
- Stay updated with relevant engineering practices, technical standards, and vocational training requirements.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
- ITI/technical qualification with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Relevant certification or training in Engineering Drawing/CAD will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant teaching/training or industry experience preferred.
- Experience in vocational training, ITI/polytechnic education, or skill development programs will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
