Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Design & Drafting Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings, creating 3D models, developing assembly and part drawings, managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), and maintaining engineering documentation. The candidate should also be capable of entering and maintaining BOM data in the company system.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 2D drafting drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models, part drawings, and assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
- Create, update, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Enter and manage BOM data in the company system/ERP.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control of all design files.
- Assist in design improvements and engineering change activities.

- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Design Engineering, Electrical Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in design, drafting, and engineering documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP/software systems for BOM management.
- Knowledge of documentation and revision control processes.
- Familiarity with data management and engineering documentation standards.
