Job Summary:
The Audit Assistant supports the audit team in conducting financial and operational audits. This role involves examining financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting in preparing audit reports. It is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in accounting and auditing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of audit assignments
- Examine financial statements, records, and documents for accuracy
- Verify accounting entries and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Collect and analyze audit evidence
- Prepare working papers and audit documentation
- Support senior auditors in drafting audit reports
- Communicate findings and observations clearly to the audit team
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CA - Inter - Mandatory
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in auditing (freshers can apply if CA Articleship is completed )
