Job Summary:
The Admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing accurate information about courses, and converting leads into enrollments. The role involves counseling students, handling inquiries, follow-ups, and achieving admission targets while ensuring a positive student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Counseling & Admissions
- Counsel students and parents on available courses, career opportunities, and program benefits
- Understand student requirements and suggest suitable courses
- Convert inquiries into admissions through effective communication
2. Lead Management
- Handle walk-ins, inbound calls, and online inquiries
- Follow up with leads via calls, WhatsApp, and emails
- Maintain and update lead data in CRM or tracking sheets
3. Admission Process
- Guide students through application and enrollment procedures
- Ensure proper documentation and fee collection process
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding
4. Target Achievement
- Meet monthly and quarterly admission targets
- Work on strategies to improve conversion rates
5. Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with students and parents
- Maintain post-admission follow-ups for student satisfaction
Eligibility Criteria:
- Any graduate (Freshers can apply)
- 0–3 years of experience in counseling, sales, or admissions preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools
