About the Role
This is a zero to one role. Kinship is at an early stage of figuring out its product market fit across multiple offerings, and this person will be at the centre of that journey. You will be experimenting, iterating, selling, building systems, and keeping operations tight, all at the same time.
If you thrive in ambiguity, love building from scratch, and can move fast without losing quality, this is for you.
What You Will Do
Business Development and Sales
Own the full sales pipeline: inbound inquiries, lead generation, organic referrals, and outreach
Nurture leads across all Kinship offerings including events, programs, retreats, memberships, and partnerships
Convert conversations into sign-ups, bookings, and long-term relationships
Pitch to corporates, brands, agencies, CSR teams, and entertainment players
Build and maintain a steady pipeline of partnerships and collaborations
Develop proposals, pitch decks, and partnership packages
Product Market Fit and Experimentation
Help identify which Kinship products and experiences get the most traction
Run rapid experiments: new event formats, programs, pricing, and audiences
Gather feedback, track response, and help refine what we offer
Work closely with the founding team to shape what Kinship becomes
Calendar and Programming
Keep the calendar full with a mix of events, activations, and experiences
Source and onboard talent: musicians, speakers, facilitators, performers, and collaborators
Build recurring events and signature IPs that bring people back
Stay plugged into Ahmedabad's cultural, creative, and entertainment scene
Operations and Centre Management
Manage event execution from setup to wrap-up
Track attendees, manage check-ins, and maintain smooth on-ground flow
Coordinate with vendors, production teams, and AV partners
Handle cost tracking, inventory, invoicing, and basic financial record-keeping
Maintain quality across every experience Kinship hosts
Systems and Tools
Use AI tools to build and maintain databases, trackers, and records
Keep CRM, partner lists, and event data organised and up to date
Create lightweight systems that help the team move faster
