Job Title: ICT Teacher (Middle School)

Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / Principal
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and tech-savvy ICT Teacher to teach students in Middle School (Grades VI to VIII). The ideal candidate should be passionate about technology, capable of delivering practical and engaging lessons, and able to equip students with essential digital skills aligned with modern educational standards and NEP 2020.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver ICT lessons covering topics such as computer fundamentals, coding, digital literacy, and internet safety
- Teach basic programming concepts (Scratch, Python, etc.) appropriate to grade levels
- Integrate technology into classroom learning and support digital education initiatives
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
- Maintain and manage computer lab resources and ensure proper usage
- Guide students in projects, presentations, and practical activities
- Promote safe and responsible use of technology among students
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback
- Stay updated with latest trends in educational technology
- Participate in school events, trainings, and academic planning
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / BCA / B.Tech (Computer Science)
- B.Ed. (preferred)
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience (school experience preferred)
- Knowledge of programming languages (Scratch, Python, basic HTML)
- Strong understanding of computer fundamentals and applications
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for school students
