Role description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with 12–15 years of expertise in enterprise and cloud networking. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Cisco Routing & Switching, Palo Alto and Check Point Firewalls, Cisco ACI, DNS Administration, and Cloud Networking. The role involves designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise and cloud network infrastructure.
- Configure and manage Cisco Routing & Switching environments.
- Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto, Check Point, and Cisco ASA Firewalls.
- Manage Cisco ACI environments and enterprise network architecture.
- Administer DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions (Infoblox preferred).
- Support cloud networking across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Implement and manage firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and network security controls.
- Perform network patching, firmware upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN and cloud connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
- Maintain network documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Required Skills
- 12–15 years of experience in enterprise networking.
- Strong expertise in Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & Switching and Cisco ACI.
- Experience in Palo Alto, Check Point, and Cisco ASA Firewall Administration.
- Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM administration.
- Experience with network security, firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and ACLs.
- Knowledge of network patching, firmware upgrades, vulnerability management, and compliance.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, CCSA/CCSE, or cloud networking certifications (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with F5 Load Balancers.
- Exposure to network automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and enterprise networking best practices.
