AV Programmers
The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and configuring audio-visual control systems to ensure seamless and efficient operation. The Audio-Visual Programmer will work closely with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to implement custom solutions that meet the unique requirements of each project.
- Develop and implement control system programming for audio-visual solutions, including but not limited to touch panel interfaces, control processors, and automation systems.
- Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and translate them into functional and user-friendly control interfaces.
- Program and configure audio-visual systems, ensuring proper integration of various components such as DSP’s, Microphones, Video switchers, Cameras, Lighting and Control processors.
- Troubleshoot and debug programming issues during system integration and testing phases. Customization and Optimization:
- Customize control system programming based on client preferences and specific project requirements.
- Optimize programming to enhance system performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
- Work closely with project Engineers, audio-visual Technicians, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and timelines.
- Provide technical expertise during project planning and execution phases.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of control system programming, including code, system configurations, and user manuals.
- Provide training to end-users and support staff on system functionality and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in audio-visual technology and programming languages.
- Make recommendations for adopting new technologies that can enhance the functionality and performance of AV systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication /IT / CS or related to AV field.
- Proven experience in audio-visual programming and system integration. (Applicable for experience AV Programmer)
- Proficiency in drafting program source code and Touch Panel Interface of QSC, Crestron, AMX, Extron, Kramer or similar. (Applicable for experience AV Programmer)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Q-SYS Designer or Crestron Simpl+ and Simpl# Pro, AMX NetLinx, Extron Global Scripter or BSS HiQnet. (Applicable for experience AV Programmer)
- Extensive knowledge of RS232/422/485 and IP-based control protocol products.
- Strong understanding of audio-visual equipment, signal flow, and control protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of VC Integration, MTR and Zoom Room. (Applicable for experience AV Programmer)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Industry certifications in audio-visual programming (e.g., QSC, Crestron Certified Programmer, AMX ACE, Extron Control Professional, Shure, Sennheiser). (Applicable for experience AV Programmer)
- Familiarity with network protocols and IP-based control systems.
- OEM Technical Certifications related to AV systems. (Applicable for experience AV Programmer)
- Industry certifications such as CTS – D or CTS – I shall be preferred (Applicable for experience AV Programmer)
Onsite Engineer
The ideal candidate will be responsible for onsite installation, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and support of audio-visual systems to ensure reliable performance and timely project delivery. The Onsite Engineer will work closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to execute site activities safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
1. Install, terminate, label, and test audio-visual equipment and associated cabling as per approved drawings, scope, and site requirements.
2. Perform system powering, device configuration, point-to-point verification, and functional testing during installation and commissioning.
3. Coordinate with project engineers, programmers, and subcontractors to ensure systems are installed and commissioned in line with technical specifications and timelines.
1. Diagnose and resolve onsite technical issues related to displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, DSPs, matrix switchers, control processors, cameras, and video conferencing systems.
2. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain optimum system performance.
3. Escalate complex technical issues to the design, programming, or support teams with clear findings and supporting details.
1. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams for site access, work schedules, readiness checks, and closure of open points.
2. Provide regular updates on installation progress, technical observations, risks, and site constraints to project stakeholders.
3. Support end-user demonstrations, handover activities, and basic user orientation upon completion of system testing.
1. Maintain site records, testing reports, punch lists, service notes, and as-built updates related to installed systems.
2. Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, rack layouts, and system schematics to execute work accurately.
3. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and project documentation requirements.
1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in onsite installation, testing, troubleshooting, or maintenance of audio-visual systems.
3. Good understanding of signal flow, structured cabling, AV rack integration, and control system basics.
4. Familiarity with video conferencing and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms.
5. Working knowledge of AV components such as DSPs, microphones, cameras, switchers, displays, amplifiers, and control systems.
6. Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing and device connectivity, will be an advantage.
7. Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
1. Relevant OEM or industry certifications in audio-visual systems, conferencing, or control platforms will be preferred.
2. Experience working on corporate, boardroom, training room, or large venue AV projects.
3. Ability to travel to project sites and work flexibly based on project schedules.
4. CTS or related industry certification will be an added advantage.
