Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical QA/QC Engineer with strong expertise in Piping, Welding Inspection, Mechanical Construction and Quality Control for a large-scale industrial construction project in Jamnagar.
Key Responsibilities
- Review IFC, P&ID and Isometric Drawings
- Review WPS, PQR and Welder Qualification documents
- Conduct material inspection for pipes, fittings, valves and gaskets
- Perform dimensional checks of spools and equipment
- Inspect fit-up, alignment and weld visual quality
- Monitor welding parameters such as voltage and amperage
- Coordinate NDT activities – RT, UT, MPI and DPI
- Monitor PWHT (Post Weld Heat Treatment)
- Prepare and review Hydrotest/Pneumatic Test Packs
- Conduct line walks and punch-list generation
- Review calibration certificates for gauges and pressure meters
- Carry out receiving inspection of tanks, vessels and pumps
- Check grouting and alignment of static and rotary equipment
- Monitor preservation and pre-commissioning activities
- Prepare inspection reports, RFI and NCR documentation
- Coordinate QA/QC activities with clients and consultants
- Ensure compliance with ASME, API and ISO standards
- Support final QA/QC dossier compilation and project handover
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
