Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Academic Counsellor to join our remote team. You will be the first point of contact for prospective students interested in our career-focused programs in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Logistics, and Patient Care Assistant. Your role will involve guiding students in selecting the right course — whether it's a 3-month Certification, 6-month Diploma, or 1-year PG Diploma — based on their goals and background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel prospective students via calls, WhatsApp, emails, and video meetings to understand their interests and recommend suitable programs.
- Clearly explain course details such as structure, fees, career prospects, and certification/diploma value.
- Follow up with leads and maintain a well-organized student inquiry database using CRM tools.
- Assist students throughout the enrollment process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintain a deep understanding of course content and regularly update knowledge on industry trends in healthcare, logistics, and business.
- Build lasting relationships with students and provide ongoing support post-enrollment when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 1+ years of experience in academic counselling, EdTech, or student support.
- Excellent communication skills in English (regional languages a plus).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a student-first attitude.
- Ability to work independently from a home environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience counseling for healthcare, logistics, or business education.
- Understanding of job roles like hospital admin, patient care assistant, supply chain executive, etc.
- Ability to handle both career starters and working professionals.
