Job Title: SFDC QA Engineer - Selenium Automation
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to drive quality assurance across Salesforce-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation using Selenium, combined with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming and modern quality engineering practices.
You will play a key role in ensuring product quality across the entire software development lifecycle, with hands-on involvement in both front-end and back-end testing within a SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and relevant frameworks.
Build and manage reusable, scalable test automation assets ensuring proper versioning and maintenance.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for Salesforce applications.
Analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and support root cause identification.
Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and delivery.
Prepare and present test execution reports, metrics, and quality insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to best practices in test design, execution, and documentation.
Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to optimize automation in the release pipeline.
Required Qualifications & Experience
4 - 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Salesforce (SFDC) projects.
Hands-on experience with Selenium Automation and test framework development.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and QA processes.
Experience testing web-based applications in SaaS architecture.
Exposure to CI/CD tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java / Python / similar) for automation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a distributed/global team environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Healthcare domain is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud / Service Cloud.
Experience with API testing and backend validation.
Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Test Management tools, and DevOps platforms.
Understanding of Salesforce-specific testing tools and accelerators is a plus.
