Job Description
5+ years of engineering experience in JVM based secure web applications- Expert level coding skills in front & back-end Java
- Java EE and/or JVM based secure web applications, LDAP
- Experience in designing scalable web services.
- Strong foundational knowledge and experience with JMS
- Experience in deploying J2EE applications with any of the following IBM WebSphere7.0 or later
- Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Excellent team player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment
- Creative, resourceful and innovative problem solver
- Mentor and coach other team members
- Experience with an IDE such as Eclipse, RAD or WDSC
- Great communication skills, including active listening and comprehending system requirements
Qualifications
Knowledge of continuous integration and release management tools- Good knowledge of SCM tools including Git, subversion, JIRA
- Familiar with SOA, DB2, SQL, JDBC, (IBM development).
- Spring Framework, Hibernate, Core Java
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, Ajax, JQuery, JSP, JSTL, Tiles2
- Proficiency in working in OS400/Unix/Linux environment
- Knowledge of scripting languages
- Self-taught and self-teaching, with a demonstrated aptitude for acquiring knowledge and skill
