Job Title: Injection Moulding Engineer
Location: Karad, Maharashtra
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience)
Experience: 1–5 years
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Injection Moulding Engineer to manage and optimize plastic injection moulding operations in our manufacturing unit. The candidate should have hands-on experience with machines, molds, and production processes to ensure quality output and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up injection moulding machines
- Troubleshoot moulding defects (short shot, flash, warpage, etc.)
- Monitor production and ensure quality standards are maintained
- Perform routine machine maintenance and coordinate repairs
- Optimize cycle time and reduce rejection rates
- Handle mold changing, setting parameters, and process adjustments
- Maintain production records and reports
- Ensure safety and housekeeping standards on the shop floor
Requirements:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Polymer Engineering (preferred)
- 1–5 years experience in injection moulding
- Knowledge of different plastic materials (PP, ABS, Nylon, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with mould setting and machine operation
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automatic/semi-automatic moulding machines
- Understanding of quality tools and measurements
- Ability to work in a team and handle shop-floor challenges
