Job Summary
The Jewellery Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing jewelry products while providing exceptional customer service. The role involves product knowledge, sales generation, inventory support, and maintaining the overall appearance of the showroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable jewelry products.
- Explain product features, quality, pricing, certifications, and care instructions.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Handle billing, payment processing, and documentation accurately.
- Assist with inventory management, stock counting, and stock replenishment.
- Ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and according to company standards.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness, security, and visual merchandising standards.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service requests.
- Stay updated on current jewelry trends, collections, promotions, and pricing.
- Follow company policies regarding security, cash handling, and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in jewelry, luxury goods, fashion, or lifestyle products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer and POS (Point of Sale) system knowledge.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Customer-focused attitude with strong selling skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of gold, diamond, gemstone, and precious metal jewelry.
- Understanding of jewelry certifications and hallmarking standards.
- Strong negotiation and upselling abilities.
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships.
- Attention to detail and high level of integrity.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
