Position: Purchase cum Operations Manager
Experience: 6–7 Years
Location: Borivali / Mumbai
Salary: Open for discussion (based on experience & performance)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to achieve cost-effective procurement.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, work orders, and vendor agreements.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials at project sites.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, accounts, and site teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Track deliveries and ensure materials are received as per specifications and project timelines.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and evaluate vendor performance.
- Handle operational activities to ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day business processes.
- Coordinate between site, administration, accounts, and management teams for operational efficiency.
- Maintain procurement records, MIS reports, and documentation for audits and management review.
- Monitor budgets, control procurement costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain management in the real estate/construction industry.
- Experience in sourcing construction materials, contractors, and service providers.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control skills.
- Good understanding of construction materials, market rates, and procurement processes.
- Strong coordination and operational management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Self-driven and result-oriented professional with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, or Procurement preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement and operations within the real estate or construction sector.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
