Job Summary
The Store Executive is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of construction materials, tools, and equipment at the project site. The role ensures that materials are available on time, records are maintained accurately, and company policies are followed to support smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive construction materials from suppliers and verify them against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans (DC), and invoices.
- Inspect received materials for quantity, quality, and specifications before acceptance.
- Maintain proper storage of materials to prevent damage, theft, or deterioration.
- Issue materials to site engineers and subcontractors against approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
- Maintain accurate records of inward and outward stock in ERP/software or stock registers.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification and prepare inventory reports.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate with the Procurement Department for timely replenishment.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Notes (MIN), Stock Transfer Notes (STN), and other store documentation.
- Ensure proper labeling, identification, and systematic arrangement of all materials.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspection of critical materials.
- Monitor and control material wastage, damage, and obsolete stock.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and security standards within the store.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing inventory records and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with project engineers, procurement, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in store management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Experience in handling construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, electrical, plumbing, and finishing materials.

Working Conditions
- Construction project site and warehouse/store environment.
- May require lifting and handling construction materials.

Authority
- Verify and receive materials as per approved documents.
- Issue materials only against authorized requisitions.
- Report shortages, excess stock, damaged materials, and discrepancies to management.
Preferred Knowledge
- Construction inventory management systems (ERP/SAP/Tally or equivalent).
- Understanding of construction material specifications.
- Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, stock reconciliation, and inventory control practices.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and warehouse management.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
