Senior Motion Designer – Keka

About This Role
You'll join Keka as Senior Motion Designer, leading motion design across explainers, product demos, reels, and brand campaigns. You're an experienced craftsperson who's ready to step into light leadership mentoring junior motion talent, setting creative direction, and building scalable motion systems that let Keka ship high-volume content without losing craft.
You'll report to the Creative Director and collaborate closely with Design, Product, Events, Video, and Social teams. You're still getting your hands dirty with animation and motion design 50% of the time this isn't a pure management role. You're a lead by example kind of senior.
Your north star: translate HR complexity into motion that feels human and intuitive, then scale that motion language globally as Keka expands.
What You'll Do

Design and animate premium motion pieces for multiple department needs

Build motion templates and systems that let junior team members ship faster

Mentor motion designers; give clear creative feedback

Collaborate with design on visual language; own final motion direction on all video

Experiment with AI motion tools (Higgsfield, Kling, Veo) to accelerate and explore

Develop and maintain Keka's motion design system (style, pacing, animation language)
You Have

5–7 years motion design/animation experience (agency, studio, or in-house)

Expert After Effects + strong Cinema 4D or Blender

Portfolio showing 4–5 hero motion pieces (explainers, demos, or campaigns)

Experience mentoring or leveling up junior creatives

Hands-on experience with AI motion tools (Higgsfield, Kling, Veo, etc.)

Eye for pacing, timing, rhythm; can communicate creative direction clearly

Comfortable taking feedback, iterating fast, and pushing back with conviction
