Prepare and supervise high-quality Indian street food, chaat and general Indian cuisine as per the restaurant's standards.
Handle preparation and cooking of dishes including chaat, snacks, kebabs, gravies, curries, breads and other Indian specialties.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, portion size and food quality.
Manage daily kitchen operations and coordinate with the Sous Chef, Executive Chef and kitchen team.
Supervise and guide Commis and junior kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
Ensure proper mise en place is completed before each service.
Maintain proper food storage, labelling and FIFO practices.
Monitor food wastage and control food costs through proper portioning and inventory usage.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
Check the quality and freshness of raw materials before use.
Assist in menu preparation, new dish development and maintaining standardized recipes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Handle high-volume service efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency.
Train junior team members on preparation methods, recipes, hygiene and kitchen procedures.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
