We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and student-focused English Lecturer to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, innovative teaching methods, and the ability to inspire students through engaging classroom instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate English language and literature courses.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
- Conduct interactive lectures, presentations, and classroom activities.
- Evaluate assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and career development.
- Support curriculum development and academic quality initiatives.
- Participate in departmental meetings, faculty development programs, seminars, and institutional events.
- Integrate technology and digital learning tools into teaching.
- Encourage communication, critical thinking, and employability skills among students.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master's Degree (M.A.) in English with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university.
- NET/SET qualification is preferred as per UGC norms.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. in English will be given preference.
- Freshers with excellent academic records may apply.
- Prior teaching experience in higher education is desirable.
Required Skills
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong presentation and classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and digital learning platforms.
- Ability to mentor students for placements, presentations, and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
