As part of our expansion, we are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Assistant Manager – Sales to strengthen our Freight Forwarding division.
Position Overview
The Assistant Manager – Sales will be responsible for driving business development, managing key customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, promoting freight forwarding solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
- Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand customer logistics requirements and provide tailored freight forwarding solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement.
Sales & Commercial Activities
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and service agreements.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support timely resolution of customer queries and enhance the overall client experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales.
- Strong knowledge of international logistics, freight forwarding, customs, and supply chain operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM applications.
