Role Overview
The Cosmetologist / Aesthetic Therapist will be responsible for providing professional skin, beauty, and non-invasive aesthetic treatments while ensuring exceptional client care, hygiene, safety, and treatment standards.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with professional facials, skin treatments, hair-removal services, aesthetic equipment, and client consultations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional skin and beauty consultations and understand clients' concerns, goals, and expectations.
- Perform professional facials, clean-ups, skin rejuvenation treatments, and other approved aesthetic services.
- Perform non-invasive aesthetic treatments such as skin tightening, pigmentation treatments, hair reduction, and other services as per Epsom's protocols and training.
- Operate aesthetic and skincare equipment safely and correctly after appropriate training.
- Assess skin type and condition and recommend suitable treatments and home-care routines.
- Explain procedures, expected results, precautions, and post-treatment care clearly to clients.
- Maintain accurate client consultation and treatment records.
- Follow strict hygiene, sanitation, sterilization, and safety protocols.
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, tools, and product inventory to the required standards.
- Ensure every client receives a premium, personalized, and comfortable experience.
- Recommend suitable treatment plans, packages, and skincare products based on genuine client requirements.
- Achieve individual treatment, customer-service, and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with the centre manager and other wellness professionals to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Participate in training and continuously upgrade knowledge of new skincare, aesthetic, and wellness treatments.
- Handle client feedback professionally and escalate medical or treatment-related concerns to the appropriate senior/medical professional.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Certification in Cosmetology, Aesthetics, Beauty Therapy, Skin Care, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in a premium salon, aesthetic clinic, dermatology clinic, medical spa, or wellness centre preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of skincare and professional beauty treatments.
- Experience with advanced facials and aesthetic equipment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of skin analysis, chemical peels, hair-removal treatments, and non-invasive aesthetic procedures is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong client consultation and relationship-management skills.
- Professional grooming and a polished personality.
- Strong understanding of hygiene, safety, and treatment protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, premium wellness environment.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
