Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with 6 months to 2 years of experience to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth IT operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, basic networking knowledge, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot operating system, application, and connectivity issues.
- Monitor and resolve LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, and VPN-related problems.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
- Respond to support tickets and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Perform software installations, updates, and system maintenance.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and support activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers when required.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience in troubleshooting desktop, laptop, printer, and internet-related issues.
- Familiarity with Remote Desktop tools and remote troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
