About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of AutoCAD drafting and the ability to prepare accurate technical drawings for engineering projects . This role is ideal for both freshers and experienced professionals who are passionate about technical design and drafting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create detailed fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing drawings.
- Convert design concepts, sketches, and engineering inputs into technical drawings.
- Modify and revise drawings based on project requirements.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, production, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and engineering specifications.
- Support design improvements and process optimization.
- Meet project timelines while maintaining high-quality drafting standards.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings.
- Good understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and drafting standards.
- Basic knowledge of fabrication, sheet metal, machine components, or manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is Preferred (Not Mandatory).
- Candidates from other technical backgrounds with excellent AutoCAD drafting skills are also encouraged to apply.
- Freshers with good AutoCAD knowledge are welcome.
- Experienced AutoCAD Draftsmen are highly encouraged to apply.
