We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Placement Coordinator / Placement Officer to manage student placements, develop employer partnerships, and ensure successful career outcomes for students. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with companies, identify job and internship opportunities, coordinate recruitment activities, and support students throughout the placement process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT companies, startups, corporate organizations, and recruitment partners.
- Source job openings, internship opportunities, and placement drives for students across various industries.
- Coordinate campus recruitment activities, including interviews, walk-ins, virtual hiring drives, and placement events.
- Engage with employers daily through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking activities to generate placement opportunities.
- Screen student profiles and match candidates with suitable job requirements.
- Share resumes, portfolios, and candidate profiles with employers based on hiring needs.
- Organize job fairs, career guidance programs, employer interaction sessions, and pre-placement talks.
- Guide students on career planning, interview preparation, resume building, and professional development.
- Track placement statistics, job openings, employer databases, and recruitment progress reports.
- Collaborate with trainers and academic teams to assess student readiness and identify skill gaps.
- Ensure smooth communication between students, faculty, recruiters, and placement partners.
- Achieve placement targets and contribute to improving student employability and placement success rates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- MBA in HR, Marketing, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, talent acquisition, business development, or corporate relations preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication and networking skills may also apply.
