Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and skilled English Teacher to teach students of Grades 3 and 4 as per the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will have strong command over the English language, effective teaching skills, and the ability to build a strong foundation in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills among young learners.
Key Responsibilities1. Academic Excellence & Language Development
- Teach English to students of Grades 3 and 4 in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop strong foundational skills in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and spoken English.
- Focus on improving students' comprehension, creative writing, communication, and language skills.
- Encourage students to develop confidence and interest in the English language.
- Provide additional support and individual attention to students who require improvement.
2. Lesson Planning & Delivery
- Develop well-structured and engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Use age-appropriate and innovative teaching methodologies, including storytelling, activities, visual aids, role plays, and interactive learning.
- Conduct regular revision and practice sessions to reinforce concepts.
- Organize reading, speaking, writing, and other language-based classroom activities.
- Conduct doubt-solving and remedial sessions whenever required.
3. Assessment & Performance Tracking
- Design and conduct worksheets, class assessments, periodic tests, and examinations.
- Evaluate students' reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, and overall language development.
- Identify learning gaps and implement appropriate strategies for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and academic progress.
- Provide constructive and actionable feedback to students and parents.
4. Student Development & Mentoring
- Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication.
- Help students develop confidence in speaking and expressing their ideas.
- Support students with different learning abilities and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Promote discipline, good values, and active classroom participation.
5. Parent Communication & Coordination
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and areas requiring improvement.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings and provide appropriate academic feedback.
- Collaborate with academic coordinators and fellow teachers for curriculum planning and student development.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, school events, and other academic activities.
- Ensure adherence to CBSE guidelines, school policies, and academic standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in English or a relevant subject with B.Ed. (mandatory).
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably teaching primary classes under the CBSE curriculum.
- Strong command of English grammar, literature, vocabulary, reading, and writing skills.
- Good understanding of the CBSE curriculum and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate young learners effectively.

Working Hours: Full-Time (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
