Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser to manage buyer communication, product development coordination, order execution, and production follow-ups. The candidate should have strong coordination skills and experience in handling export merchandising operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle buyer inquiries, product discussions, and order follow-ups
- Coordinate with design, production, QC, and dispatch teams for smooth execution
- Manage product development from sampling to final shipment
- Prepare costing sheets, quotations, catalogs, and product details
- Track orders, production timelines, and shipment schedules
- Ensure product quality and buyer requirements are met
- Maintain communication with buyers regarding approvals, samples, and dispatch updates
- Coordinate sample development and approval processes
- Maintain order records, trackers, and merchandising reports
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure timely deliveries and smooth workflow
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline
- 2–5 years of experience in merchandising/export industry
- Experience in home décor, hard goods, glass, or handicrafts preferred
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong follow-up and multitasking abilities
- Understanding of production and export processes preferred
