We are looking for an experienced Quality Head / MR for a reputed foundry unit in Jamshedpur. This is a senior-level role requiring strong expertise in quality management systems, audits, and foundry operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Quality Assurance & Quality Control functions
- Ensure adherence to customer specifications & industry standards
- Handle internal & external audits (ISO / IATF) as Management Representative
- Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (rejection reduction, CAPA, etc.)
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues
- Oversee inspection processes – incoming, in-process & final
- Manage documentation, SOPs, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for quality improvements
Experience Required:
- 10–20 years in Foundry / Casting Industry
- Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role in Quality
- Strong experience in ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 audits
- Hands-on knowledge of foundry processes (melting, molding, casting, testing). Skills Required:
- Strong leadership & team handling ability
- Expertise in 7 QC tools, CAPA, FMEA, PPAP
- Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills
- Good communication & audit handling capability
Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Metallurgy preferred)
