We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Counsellor with a specialization in special education to join our team. The ideal candidate will support students' emotional, psychological, academic, and social development, with a primary focus on handling children with special needs.
Requirements
Mandatory MA in Counselling
Minimunm 5 years of school experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counselling to students, particularly those with special educational needs.
- Design and implement intervention strategies tailored to the unique needs of special children.
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support students in overcoming academic, social, and behavioral challenges.
- Conduct regular assessments and maintain detailed documentation of student progress.
- Promote mental health awareness and create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
- Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution when required.
- Conduct workshops for teachers and parents on dealing with special children effectively.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and relevant legal/ethical guidelines.
