Business Development Executive
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive (Upwork Bidder) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating business through Upwork and other freelance platforms by identifying opportunities, writing winning proposals, communicating with clients, and closing projects for website development, SEO, digital marketing, branding, mobile app development, and other IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelance platforms.
- Submit high-quality, customized proposals to potential clients.
- Communicate with international clients to understand their business requirements.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term clients.
- Follow up with prospects and maintain strong client relationships.
- Coordinate with the technical and marketing teams to prepare project estimates and solutions.
- Negotiate project scope, timelines, and pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of proposals, leads, and project status.
- Achieve monthly lead generation and sales targets.
- Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities.
Required Skills
- Experience bidding on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong proposal writing and client communication abilities.
- Knowledge of website development, SEO, digital marketing, UI/UX, mobile app development, or software services.
- Understanding of lead generation and sales processes.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in business development or online bidding.
- Experience working with international clients (US, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe) is preferred.
