About the Role
We are looking for a Japanese Language Marketing Executive who will be responsible for developing business opportunities, communicating with Japanese clients, generating leads, and supporting the company's marketing and business development activities.
The ideal candidate should have JLPT N2 or N3 proficiency, good communication skills, and an interest in marketing, client acquisition, and business development. Experience in dealing with Japanese clients or companies will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop potential Japanese clients and business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify Japanese companies and prospective clients.
- Communicate with Japanese clients through emails, calls, meetings, and online platforms.
- Generate leads through online research, networking, LinkedIn, email marketing, and other marketing channels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective Japanese clients.
- Prepare marketing proposals, presentations, company profiles, and business communication in Japanese/English.
- Coordinate with the internal team to understand client requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Follow up with leads and prospective clients to convert them into business opportunities.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies specifically targeting the Japanese market.
- Represent the company professionally while communicating with Japanese businesses and stakeholders.
- Translate or review marketing materials, emails, proposals, and other business documents in Japanese.
- Maintain records of leads, client interactions, follow-ups, and business opportunities.
- Monitor Japanese market trends and identify potential areas for business expansion.
- Support management in business development and other marketing initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- JLPT N2 or N3 certification preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, business development, sales, client servicing, or Japanese-language related roles.
- Strong Japanese and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good understanding of Japanese business culture and etiquette.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with Japanese clients.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, LinkedIn, email communication, and online research.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented approach.
- Good presentation and negotiation skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates who have previously worked with Japanese companies or Japanese clients will be preferred.
- Candidates having experience in B2B marketing, lead generation, international business development, or sales will be an advantage.
- Candidates who are confident in speaking Japanese and are interested in developing a career in Japanese business development/marketing are encouraged to apply.
