The Supply Chain Coordinator – Level III is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations by balancing customer demand, supply availability, and inventory levels. Working with minimal supervision, this role uses statistical analysis, planning systems, and cross-functional collaboration to develop and maintain accurate demand, supply, and inventory plans. The position drives supply chain stability, supports operational excellence, and ensures customer requirements are met through effective planning, inventory optimization, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute demand, supply, and inventory plans that align customer requirements with business objectives.
- Analyze demand and supply trends, identify risks and constraints, and proactively recommend corrective actions to maintain supply chain stability.
- Perform supply and demand analysis, highlighting opportunities and potential risks across short- and long-term planning horizons.
- Monitor inventory performance and optimize planning parameters, including minimum/maximum inventory levels, reorder points, safety stock, and planning signals.
- Support and apply Plan for Every Part (PFEP) principles to improve material flow, inventory optimization, and overall supply chain efficiency.
- Execute planning parameter simulations, evaluate impacts on key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide recommendations based on analytical results.
- Monitor planning system exception messages, abnormal demand signals, and inventory alerts, performing root cause analysis and implementing approved planning adjustments.
- Enter and maintain approved forecast changes to ensure alignment between aggregate and detailed demand plans.
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, suppliers, customer service, and other cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of supply plans.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with external suppliers to support material availability and supply continuity.
- Utilize materials planning systems and analytical tools to support decision-making, reporting, and process improvements.
- Generate reports, analyze supply chain KPIs, and communicate performance trends and improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, material flow, inventory optimization, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Complete assigned training and contribute to team development while supporting business objectives and operational priorities.
Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in supply planning, material planning, inventory planning, production scheduling, or related supply chain functions. Candidates with 5–7 years of relevant experience are preferred for advanced planning responsibilities.
- Experience working with external suppliers and cross-functional global teams.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and materials planning.
- Experience using ERP and materials planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent planning platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, forecasting techniques, and inventory optimization methodologies.
- Understanding of Plan for Every Part (PFEP), planning parameters, and supply chain KPI management.
- Ability to interpret planning data, identify root causes, and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule
- Shift: Night Shift (5:00 PM – 2:00 AM IST)
- Benefits: Night Shift Allowance and Company Pickup & Drop facilities within PMC & PCMC jurisdiction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, secondary education certificate, or equivalent experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or a related discipline is preferred.
