Shift Incharge – Production
Objective
To lead and execute shift operations by ensuring smooth production, efficient utilization of manpower and resources, adherence to quality and safety standards, accurate production documentation, and effective coordination with cross-functional teams to achieve daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
- Execute daily production plans and ensure achievement of shift production targets.
- Allocate manpower, equipment, and resources efficiently for uninterrupted operations.
- Monitor production performance, identify process issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and losses.
- Ensure the availability of raw materials, utilities, and consumables throughout the shift.
- Track production output, material consumption, and process efficiency.
Quality, Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure products meet quality standards and initiate corrective actions for any deviations.
- Coordinate with Quality teams to address rejections and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain compliance with FSMS, quality systems, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
- Enforce safety practices, PPE usage, and ensure audit readiness.
- Support Business Excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
People & Shift Management
- Supervise, guide, and motivate operators and technicians during the shift.
- Ensure disciplined, productive, and SOP-compliant shop-floor operations.
- Deploy manpower effectively based on production priorities.
- Train and develop team members to enhance operational performance.
Maintenance & Equipment
- Coordinate with Maintenance teams to resolve equipment breakdowns promptly.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and ensure safe equipment startup and shutdown.
- Monitor machine performance to maximize equipment availability.
Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate SAP entries for production activities.
- Maintain records related to production, downtime, rework, and material consumption.
- Prepare comprehensive shift handover and takeover reports for seamless operations.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Sales, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Align shift activities with production schedules and customer dispatch requirements.
Decision-Making Authority
- Allocate and redeploy manpower based on operational needs.
- Halt production in case of quality, safety, or compliance concerns.
- Authorize rework in accordance with approved procedures and quality guidelines.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
