Job Overview
We are hiring Modelers and Checkers to prepare accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for structural steel projects. Responsibilities include creating shop/erection drawings, developing 3D models, and reviewing work for accuracy and compliance with standards. Candidates should have experience in Tekla/SDS2 knowledge of steel codes, and strong attention to detail.
MODELER:
- As a tekla Modeler, need to build detailed 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures based on design drawings.
- Define connections, bolted & welded details within model per engineering intent and standards.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and detailers to incorporate design changes and clarity.
- Perform clash detection, interference checks, and resolve modeling conflicts.
- Extract drawings, plans, sections, and generate reports from the model (NC / CNC, BOM, part lists).
- Assist in revisions and updates to models as per feedback or change orders.
- TEKLA EXPERIENCE: 2 to 4 years
CHECKER:
- As a Tekla Checker, need to review and audit shop drawings, erection drawings, and models created by detailers/modelers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Verify dimensions, connection details, welds, bolts, plates, section orientations, and fabricability.
- Ensure adherence to project codes, client standards, internal QA/QC processes, and drawing standards.
- Provide markups, corrections, and feedback to detailers/modelers.
- Validate material take-offs, BOM, and part lists against design and model.
- Review RFIs and ensure correct resolution in drawings/models.
- Ensure consistency across revisions, numbering, naming, and version control.
- Liaise with structural engineers, fabrication teams, and site teams to resolve discrepancies or design queries.
- Mentor junior detailers/modelers and promote best practices in detailing.
- TEKLA EXPERIENCE: 2 to 7 years

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
