Summary:
As a Senior AWS Integration Architect, you will design and implement enterprise-scale AWS integration platforms, cloud-native architectures, and metadata-driven integration frameworks. The role requires extensive expertise in AWS Glue-based data integration solutions, serverless architectures, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern cloud integration patterns.
The architect will leverage AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, CloudFormation, CDK (TypeScript), and CodeBuild to build scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions. Strong experience in Python, PySpark, SQL, and TypeScript is required, along with expertise in Data Mesh architectures, multi-tenant integration platforms, cross-account deployments, and event-driven integration patterns.
The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver cloud solutions using Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and accelerate software delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Design and architect enterprise-scale AWS Glue-based data integration solutions for cloud-native applications and Data Mesh platforms.
2. Lead the design and implementation of serverless integration architectures using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, and AWS Glue.
3. Develop and optimize AWS Glue ETL jobs using Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing and transformation.
4. Design metadata-driven and configuration-over-code integration frameworks using JSON schemas and reusable architecture patterns.
5. Build scalable, event-driven integration pipelines supporting JDBC, REST APIs, SFTP, and messaging-based integrations.
6. Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using AWS CDK (TypeScript) and CloudFormation.
7. Lead multi-tenant architecture decisions and cross-account deployment strategies across AWS environments.
8. Develop backend services using TypeScript and Python for serverless applications.
9. Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins, GitHub, and DevOps best practices.
10. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to gather requirements, conduct architecture reviews, and deliver solution demonstrations.
11. Ensure security, governance, monitoring, and operational excellence across AWS integration platforms.
12. Optimize AWS solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
13. Mentor development teams and establish best practices for cloud-native integration and automation.
14. Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to improve engineering productivity and accelerate SDLC processes.
15. Work closely with Agile teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions following DevOps and continuous integration practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
1. 10–12+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS cloud integration solutions.
2. Strong expertise in AWS Glue for ETL development, data transformation, workflow orchestration, and enterprise data integration.
3. Extensive experience with AWS services including AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Amazon EventBridge, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Athena, Amazon SQS, and AWS CodeBuild.
4. Experience with AWS CDK (TypeScript) and AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated cloud provisioning.
5. Good understanding of AWS security services including Amazon Cognito, AWS WAF, AWS Certificate Manager, Amazon CloudFront, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon SageMaker.
6. Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, and TypeScript.
7. Experience developing serverless applications and backend services using AWS Lambda and TypeScript.
8. Expertise in developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting AWS Glue ETL jobs using Python and PySpark.
9. Strong knowledge of Data Mesh architecture, metadata-driven integration, and configuration-over-code platform design.
10. Experience designing event-driven architectures using EventBridge, Step Functions, Lambda, and SQS.
11. Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns including REST APIs, JDBC, SFTP, and asynchronous messaging.
12. Experience designing multi-tenant integration platforms and cross-account AWS deployment strategies.
13. Proficiency in JSON schema design, metadata management, and reusable integration frameworks.
14. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins, GitHub, and DevOps practices.
15. Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation, and deployment strategies.
16. Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and Claude Code for AI-assisted software development and Agentic SDLC workflows.
17. Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
18. Experience with performance optimization, monitoring, troubleshooting, and cost optimization of AWS cloud solutions.
19. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills.
20. Proven ability to mentor engineering teams and establish cloud integration architecture best practices.
Additional Information:
1. The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
2. This position is based at the Hyderabad office.
