Job Summary
Lakshya is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Executive to support the Corporate Legal function. The role involves drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing corporate and statutory compliances, coordinating litigation, supporting corporate secretarial activities, and providing legal assistance for business operations and expansion. The ideal candidate should possess strong drafting skills, sound legal knowledge, and the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including NDAs, MOUs, lease agreements, vendor agreements, and employment contracts.
- Maintain contract repository, renewal tracker, and legal documentation.
- Support corporate secretarial activities including Board Resolutions, Minutes, AGM/EGM documentation, MCA filings, and statutory records.
- Draft legal notices, affidavits, legal opinions, policies, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with external advocates on litigation matters and maintain litigation trackers.
- Monitor statutory and regulatory compliance, maintain compliance calendars, and support legal audits.
- Manage trademark filings, renewals, and intellectual property records.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal support to business teams.
- Assist in due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and business expansion initiatives.
- Review business proposals and operational documents from a legal and compliance perspective.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Operations, Secretarial, Business Teams, Government Authorities, and external consultants on legal matters.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and support implementation of legal compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- LL.B. from a recognized university (Mandatory).
- LL.M. and/or Company Secretary (Pursuing/Qualified) will be an added advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience in a Corporate Legal Department or Law Firm.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements.
- Good knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, Contract Act, Labour Laws, Intellectual Property Laws, and MCA compliance.
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple assignments independently.
- Proficient in MS Office and legal documentation management.
